  Pass on cars to attend Assemblies?

  i have just read a post about february 2025 (i suppose) announcements in italy saying that from now on at assemblies they need a pass, given by elders, to put on cars.. is that possible/true?.

  USA. Larger cars and cheaper gasoline. They ysed to sell us parking tickets for the lots that were provided free by the venue. Now with an assembly hall they allow disabled to be let out by the door and have help. There are 40 reserved spots as required by law-not one extra. All taken by the early arrival fit elderly who still can get a doctor to write a prescription for parking. The other close lots where the drivers for disabled are directed has no wheel chair access. We have to have a state issued placard or can be towed. I have seen the police come take a look.

  The year they tore down the ball stadium the parking permits by some quirk went to the well off congregations so the mercedes and better could park at the limited substitute venue. Our old chevies were sent to remote lots or we got to pay for bus rides from halls.

  I worked less than 2 miles away so dropped off the crew and parked at work. Bicycles back. Thatsituation worked for restroom too if I wanted to avoid the unpleasant stalls. I had a key and burglar alarm status. I feel for you women.

  JW's home schooling over-representing

  speaking to an old elder friend recently about his decision to home school his high school aged kids.. he claims that here in australia, about 30% of the students that log into online classrooms are jw's.

  the others are disabled kids - who cant physically attend class and the rest are long distance students.. another generation of under-educated jw kids on the way..

  Big difference in home schooling and online school. Online has a curriculum and real teachers. Some teachers are "woke" though. College credit courses are common.

  Interaction with peers, exposure to attractive opposite gender, and such is lacking. Sports is offered as a part time student at local schools.

  OTH a youngster here could not read a scripture at the door at age 12. Mom directed schooling. Worst part is she lost her looks by 20 so will not be a catch.

  Through the years Timothy has been 16 years old, mid 20s, and in his 30s depending on what the story point needed. They added a successful rich businessman father to the story. Maybe he was actually an orphan or bastard.

  i know as a jw i concluded several times that i was not brainwashed as i was not some unautonimous zombie and had not experienced anything akin to.... .

  but in reality, brainwashing is a control of thought and ideas over a person and changing the way they think.

  in normal life such sentences are not used, in fact they are highly discouraged... .

  these affected areas are some of the places i visited when i came on a tour of the us.

  How Do JWs Understand Salvation & What Is Needed to Obtain It?

  from my experience within the jw organization, i understood that salvation meant a person accepted the teachings of the wbts without question as the "faithful and discrete slave," thereby placing their trust in them, not jesus christ.

  salvation consisted of being found "righteous" by jehovah and resurrected to everlasting life in an earthly paradise.

  to obtain this salvation, one needed to obey the organization's teachings, remain a faithful jw, and lead a moral life.

  the proposed change will revoke charitable status of canadian churches who have an anti-abortion position, and will not give tax exemptions to organizations whose sole claim is to promote religion, which is the basic claim for all jw related entities in canada.
